Breakfast Casserole


10 slices white bread, cubed, crusts cut off (I have used wheat bread)
1 lb cooked sausage, crumbled
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup shredded swiss cheese
6 beaten eggs
1 cup milk
1 cup light cream
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp Worchestershire sauce
1/2 pepper
1/2 can mushrooms

Grease 9 X 13 pan. Arrange layers of bread, cooked sausage, cheeses, mushrooms, and combine rest of ingredients. Pour over top. Refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.

Use 2 cups of milk instead of using cream.

Add red and green peppers at Christmas for a more festive look.
