Combine 2 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs (I used a mixture of graham cracker crumbs & vanilla wafer crumbs) and 12 Tablespoons melted butter. Mix & press firmly in 9x13 pan. Bake 10 minutes at 325 degrees.
Soften three 8 oz packages of cream cheese. Add 3 eggs. Whip together. Add 2 more eggs & whip again. Add 1 cup sugar & 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla. Pour over cooled crust. Bake 50 to 60 minutes at 300 degrees. Cool before adding topping.
Topping:
1 pint sour cream
½ cup sugar
½ teaspoon vanilla
Mix & spread over cooled cheesecake. Bake 10 minutes at 300 degrees. Cool & serve.
